Our mission is to end Life Without Parole sentencing in California. Our goal is to afford relief to those currently serving this sentence, no matter the conviction, through legislative change, commutations, pardons, resentencing, and public awareness about the injustice of the LWOP sentence.
SPECIAL Community EVENT
August 21 – 22, 2022
About the Event:
F.U.E.L. (Families United to End LWOP) and Drop LWOP invite you to join us in Sacramento on August 21-22, 2022. We will be holding our 2nd annual community event gathering on Sunday August 21st from 11am-5pm with food and games for everyone! We’ll raffle off items received from our incarcerated loved ones and their families. This event will be at McKinley Park in Sacramento at 3330 McKinley Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95816. We encourage you to let your loved ones inside know that this is an opportunity to contribute to the event by sending drawings, crafts, poetry, or any items they would like to have raffled off in our fundraiser on Sunday, August 21st. To contribute items for the raffle, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
On Monday, August 22 at about 8:30am, we will be meeting at the Capitol in Sacramento on the West Side steps and continue to amplify our voices with a rally and coordinated Lobby Day (more info to come regarding our legislative visits)!
In March of 2020 we had a rally on the Capitol steps and we were heard! Now, two years later, we have a bill that will be one big step in our fight to end LWOP. Join us to educate and push for the passage of SB 300 – time to #FreeThemAll!

What is LWOP?
The Drop LWOP Coalition works to end Life Without Parole sentencing in California. Our goal is to afford relief to those currently serving this sentence, no matter the conviction, through legislative change, commutations, pardons, and resentencing and public awareness about the injustice of the LWOP sentence.
Support SB 300
SB 300 will address the injustice of the felony murder
special circumstance law by allowing for a sentence
other than the death penalty or life in prison without
parole for a person who did not kill anyone, nor intend
for anyone to die.
